     Recently, I read a book full of adventures called The Amazing Days of Abby Hayes: What Goes Up Must Come Down.  It was written by Anne Mazer.

    The main character was Abby; a middle child of four kids! She is 12 years old and loves to write in her journal. In this Abby Hayes book, She and her family take a trip to Paris. While in Paris, Abby wants to write a newspaper article for her school newspaper. OH-NO! Abby has writer's block, what is she going to do? Well, after a few frightening adventures Abby's writer's block is gone and she finally knows what to write about.

     The best part for me about this book was that Abby loves to write too! I also liked that she had great perserverance when she couldn't find out what to write about.

     I really liked this book and would recommend this book to anyone who loves books about preteens, writers, and middle school kids. I give this book 4 paws!
